PeTA 
PeTA focuses its attention on the four areas in which the largest numbers of animals suffer the most intensely for the longest periods of time: on factory farms, in laboratories, in the clothing trade, and in the entertainment industry. They also work on a variety of other issues, including the cruel killing of beavers, birds and other "pests," and the abuse of backyard dogs.

Humane Farming Association
HFA's goals are to protect farm animals from cruelty, to protect the public from the dangerous misuse of antibiotics, hormones, and other chemicals used on factory farms, and to protect the environment from the impacts of industrialized animal factories. HFA's National Veal Boycott continues to be the single most successful campaign ever conducted against factory farming. Achieving an unprecedented drop of 70% in the sale of drugged, anemic, and tortured baby calves, HFA's groundbreaking investigations have resulted in the first-ever felony convictions of veal industry leaders.

Earth Island Institute
Life on earth is imperiled by human degradation of the biosphere. Earth Island Institute develops and supports projects that counteract threats to the biological and cultural diversity that sustain the environment. Through education and activism, these projects promote the conservation, preservation, and restoration of the Earth.

Friends of Animals
Works to cultivate a respectful view of nonhuman animals, free-living and domestic. Our goal is to free animals from cruelty and institutionalized exploitation around the world.

EarthSave educates people about the powerful effects our food choices have on the environment, our health and all life on Earth, and encourages a shift toward a healthy, plant-based diet.

Dedicated to the welfare of greyhound dogs, spreading the word about greyhounds through educational outreach, paid advertisements, special events and informational exhibits.

In Defense of Animals
An international animal protection organization dedicated to ending the exploitation and abuse of animals by raising the status of animals beyond that of mere property, and by defending their rights, welfare and habitat. IDA’s efforts include educational events, cruelty investigations, boycotts, grassroots activism, and hands-on rescue through our sanctuaries in Mississippi and Cameroon, Africa.

SPCA of Texas
The Society of the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals of Texas is the leading animal welfare agency in North Texas with two shelters and three spay/neuter clinics, and serves as an active resource center providing an array of programs and services that bring people and animals together to enrich each others' lives.

NEADS
Trains and provides rescued dogs and donated puppies to assist people who are deaf or physically disabled in leading more independent lives at work, at home and at school.
